Each retreat experience is intentionally small to provide you a personalised approach that meets your needs. Sam likes to try to keep the numbers to no more than six for the optimum teaching experience. The combination of the house and its magical location, the practices of yoga and intuitive coaching, all work towards your physical and mental well being.

I should tell you a little about myself and my journey into yoga. I am a certified Yoga Alliance instructor with 200-hour certification from Barcelona and 20 yrs. of yoga experience. It began in America Florida, where life changes called for a needed escape and yoga seemed a sensible choice. A distraction at first but it then turned into a lifestyle choice. Hot Hatha Yoga was a life changer.

Program

Day 1

  • Arrival Sunday
  • Check in after 16:00
  • Make yourself at home. Relax on the terrace with a drink and a choice of assorted light snacks with your fellow yogis. A selection of teas and water with be available throughout your stay. Perhaps enjoy a swim to revitalise you after your journey.
  • 18:00 – Enjoy the first of our evening restorative yoga sessions
  • 19:30 – Dinner – served by our exquisite chef, Liz – a fellow yogi. Dinner is followed by an explanation of possible areas of interest for to you to explore on your down times.

Day 2

Monday to Thursday

  • 08:30 – Healthy breakfasts will consist of a choice of granolas, fruits, juices. Accompanied by a local pastry selection.
  • 09:30 – Early morning walk*
  • 11:00 – Warm Yoga session focusing on breathing, alignment and meditation
  • 12:30 – Lunch buffet is an assortment of Liz’s choice creations of tasty healthy food.
  • Free time – Spend your time taking a walk, swimming, reading a book or enjoy some of the amazing tourists sites in the area. If exploring wine country is something you may fancy there is plenty of choice and not too far away. (10 to 20 min drive) We do supply a selection of wines ‘in house’ from our honesty wine bar, all derived from local suppliers. There are plenty of vineyards to choose from in the Vire sur Lot. Or perhaps you would like to relax and enjoy a treatment with our beautician Karen or Reiki and/or crystal healing with Georgia.
  • 17:30 – work on alignment and posture of the Surya Namaskara A series, followed by resorative yoga class.
  • 19:30 – Evening meal – Liz will create a lovely selection of healthy meals followed by a delicious healthy dessert. All foods are sourced locally.

Day 3

Departure Friday
We offer you a lie in where you will be offered a breakfast buffet at 11am and check out no later than 14h, if possible.

* Throughout your stay we will offer a guided walk to help familiarise yourself and become comfortable with the surrounding neighbourhood. Additionally, there is access to electric bikes if you would like to explore further afield. The heated pool is available to you at all times of the day.
